Wintergreen Kunqu Society () is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the study and presentation of Chinese Kunqu theatre in the United States. In addition to educational workshops and lecture demonstrations, it regularly sponsors productions of popular Kunqu plays featuring premier artists from the major Kunqu troupes in China.

On June 18 the Shanghai Kunju Troupe will be perform four scenes from the classic Kunqu drama, Palace of Eternal Youth (Chang Sheng Dian) in the Meyer Auditorium of the Freer Gallery in Washington, D.C.  On June 19 the troupe will perform selected Kunqu classic scenes in the Sackler Galleries. The troupe is joined by the U.S.-based star Qian Yi as a guest performer. This is the first U.S. tour for the company in over twenty years. Please join us for this historic event.
